Description

This delicious and simple recipe combines the rich flavors of soy sauce and honey with perfectly baked chicken thighs. A go-to meal for busy nights, offering a sweet and savory taste that pleases everyone.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken thighs, making sure they are well-coated.
  5. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
  6. Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once cooked, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Marinating the chicken for longer (up to 2 hours) enhances the flavor. You can also use boneless chicken thighs, but reduce the cooking time slightly.
